首先我们来介绍一下《企鹅英语简易读物》是什么(以下简称《企鹅英语》)。《企鹅英语》是一套按年龄、水平划分的简单英语阅读材料,以培养“听”、“说”、“读”、“写”全才为目标。该系列丛书分为“上”、“中”、“下”三个阶段。我的高年级学生推荐的书籍有初中水平和高中水平。
一般来说,这些书籍是对外国经典、传记和短篇小说的简化改编。他们根据中学生现有的词汇和语法知识添加单词和句型。

不看翻译快速通读一遍
很多学生在阅读英语时,一看到生词就查字典。虽然这是一个好习惯,但是在学习英语阅读材料时,我们第一时间只能靠“猜测”来快速阅读。一次提高你的语感。速读是泛读的一种。我们可以“不知其所以然”,不需要过多担心语法、词汇等,只要能大致理解内容即可。
查生词
第一遍阅读时,学生可以在阅读过程中用铅笔画出生词。看完后可以一起参考。你可以准备一个笔记本来整理词汇。
最后阅读
精读,理解句子结构和语法,达到最终的提高。
